Allan Wingate published hardcover books for a long time. They stopped in 1959.  In 1974, the company decided to publish only two books the entire year. Thankfully, they were Dr. Who books!  The Auton Invasion and the Cave Monsters were the only two published by Allan Wingate in 1974.
