If you’ve been following along, April is all about re-assessing the 2010s period of Mel Gibson’s career—the period where he wasn’t well liked—which we’ve dubbed ‘The Resurrection of Mel Gibson.’ This week we’re happy to be talking about BLOOD FATHER (2016), which is a movie where Mel grows out his grey hair, sticks on a bunch of temporary tattoos, and growls a lot while killing drug cartel punks and scowling disapprovingly at his estranged daughter (there’s always an estranged daughter).
