On January 15th, 1947, Elizabeth Short's dead, mutilated body was found in a vacant lot just steps away from the sidewalk. Elizabeth was naked, battered and cut cleanly in half at the waist... and that is where we left off in part one

From the look of it a doctor had clearly been involved in this murder, but this was surely not a case of surgery gone wrong, this was a purposeful act. But who would do such a thing, and why? The answers to these questions have taken WWBD on a wild ride that we share with you this week in the second installment of our exploration of The Black Dahlia murder.
