Leanna and "sidekick" Jared welcome guest, Erica Moorer, a Title IX coordinator for a major university, a certified national counselor and a trained sexual assault advocate in the state of California, to talk AGAIN about the importance of communicating consent. However, this time around, Erica focuses on how you can begin that communication from the very start, including pre-first date banter, using 21 questions to your advantage and building healthy boundaries to only communicate what you are ready for in order to feel safe. The three also dive back into the depths of consent, including affirmative consent, the importance of setting boundaries beforehand and how to communicate clearly during situations that don't feel right.
