Dr. Rodriguez received her masters and doctoral degrees from Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. She did her graduate training at Louisiana State University's Department of Psychiatry where she worked in both inpatient and outpatient community mental health. Dr. Rodriguez works with a wide range of issues including mood and anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, and with survivors of trauma.
Dr. Rodriguez’s clinical interests are in the connection between developmental trauma and mental illness, particularly for individuals who are diagnosed with Borderline and other personality disorders. Having had a variety of different training experiences with regard to theoretical orientation and focus on trauma, she approaches working with patients from an integrated, stage-based perspective.
She is currently a licensed psychologist in the state California and based in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. In her private practice Dr. Rodriguez offers individual, couples, and group psychotherapy, as well as supervision and training for post-graduates in mental health.
