Brady Leavold welcomes pioneer Barbara Williams to the Hockey 2 Heroin family in episode 21. Barbara was the very first female to coach at the NHL level. She landed the job in 1977 with the New York Islanders. Al Arbor and Bob Nystrom were the 2 that really paved the way for the door to open. She worked the Islanders throughout their incredible dynasty era and then moved on to work with the New Jersey Devils and other American League Hockey teams. She also has worked privately with over 200 NHL players over the course of 40+ years. Aside from being one of the worlds best power skating coaches she is also an advocate for animals and people suffering with drug and alcohol dependancies.
