Da en ung fattig kvinde 1639 stødte tæerne på noget hårdt og fandt det første guldhorn, vidste hun ikke at hornet omkring 200 år senere – sammen med dets makker fra 1734 – blev stjålet af en guldsmed.
Og at det fik en digter til at skrive et digt, der bliver et gennembrud for romantikken i dansk litteratur.
Men denne episode handler ikke om en ung pige eller en digter. Den handler om manden, der stjal guldhornene og smeltede dem om.
Ved sin handling forvandlede han de to danefæ fra den germanske jernalder til nationale klenodier.
Og ja, det er en corona-episode. Det betyder at jeg ikke har været så bred i min research som jeg plejer. Og lyden? Ja, den kunne være bedre…
