Riddle me this! Who's afraid of the big, black bat? As part of our 'classics revisited' episode for the 90s. We take a look back to what Batman was like in 1995's Batman Forever. Directed by Joel Schumacher and starring Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman and Chris O'Donnell. This ain't your Nolan Batman, full wild and unrepentant 1966's camp is on display here with an insane portrayal of the caped crusader as he tackles the hardship of a love triangle with himself, a new ward in Dick Grayson and two insane criminal wrecking havoc in Gotham as he is sent mysterious riddles (that he largely ignores). None of it makes sense and it is a wild ride.
