I just came across these clips from when I was a producer/presenter and Head of Specialist Programmes for Galaxy Radio 101FM. We had an audience of 3.5million at this point as broadcasting to South West of England and South Wales. This was at the time when Dance music was still very much underground and Galaxy had the foresight to let us bring it to the masses and we were the station to play "jungle" or now know as Drum and Bass on legal radio, launching the careers of Full Cycle Crew inc Roni Size, Krust, Die, Suv, Dynamite MC and singer Onallee who went on to produce the Mercury Prize winning album New Forms in 1996 the same year these clips are taken from. I will never forget the incredible years I worked for Galaxy, what we did was groundbreaking and my job was the best in the world and I will always be so grateful for such an incredible opportunity to work with and meet so many iconic and talented people!
