In our sixth installment, we read a ghost story from M.R. James called "Wailing Well."  Heather complains about the weather, Ken's dialect work is regionally suspicious, and the English Boy Scouts have some peculiar practices.

 

"Wailing Well" was written in 1927, published in 1928, and included in M.R. James' 1931 book Collected Ghost Stories.
