Bricks & Mortar: The Land Collective’s Sarah Hayford on inspiring the next generation
This week’s Bricks & Mortar sees EG’s Sarah Jackman catch up with Sarah Hayford, assistant estate surveyor at Wasabi Sushi & Bento and founder of the Land Collective: “a holistic content-led platform that wants to inspire and engage the new generation to set their sights on the built environment career-wise or as a commercial awareness tool.”
Launched initially three years ago, Sarah reflects on how engagement with the platform has grown and what resonates with its users. She discusses how it has expanded to include speaking engagements to raise the profile of real estate as a sector and a career in schools, colleges and universities and why bridging the knowledge gap is “really fulfilling”.
She explains how she’s always seeking to add value – particularly at this turbulent time – and details her plans to expand the Land Collective’s reach to include a virtual internship programme.
