#43 Ft. Matt Marquardt - QMJHL Champion - 13 year pro

Episode #43 features 13 year pro Matt Marquardt from North Bay, Ontario. Brady joins Matt live in person from the Buchman household in North Bay. Leavold was in North Bay for 6 days getting back on the ice after 7 long years. He crossed paths with Matt in the parking lot of Memorial Gardens Arena, home of the North Bay Battalion of the OHL. 

Brady and Matt record episode 43 from Blair and Mandy Buchman's back porch. Brady stayed with the Buchman family for 6 days while in North Bay. This is an excellent listen for any player aspiring to reach the next level. 

Marquardt was undrafted by the OHL but went on to play 3 years in the QMJHL in cluding back to back 40 goal seasons which led him to hear his name called on draft day back in 2006. Marquardt played 5 years in the AHL before making his way over seas. Now winding his career down he is like Reggie Dunlop in Slapshot, acting as player coach over in Scottland playing for the Dundee Stars.
