I woke up this morning with a past situation on my mind. I was in a church and the worship leader asked the congregation to stand and sing. I stood up and started singing. The words made me think about how great God is and what He did in my life. His glory overwhelmed me and I sat down, put my head in my hands and started privately thanking God. A church lady tapped me on the shoulder and said that I was too young to sit down during worship and as a minister I was giving a bad example. Is it overt actions or the heart that matters? An interesting question that has sadly divided churches for generations. I wonder if it will do the same for the one nation under God.
