This week, we examine Abel Ferrara's cult classic King of New York, starring Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishburne, and Wesley Snipes. Released in 1990, King of New York tells the story of Frank White, a drug kingpin who is recently released from prison and decides to reclaim the New York underworld in order to provide funding for an inner-city hospital.  Join us, as we discuss the film's merits, its flaws, and how it has gone on to become a cult favorite among fans of gangland-style action/drama, with its lead character becoming something of a cultural icon within certain circles.
