In order to better understand how we move forward with our careers, sometimes we have to look back. AND, sometimes we also have to look sideways. Consequently, #ARCSchat in October would like to unveil a new series this season called "Career Perspectives" where we hold a round table discussion with our professional colleagues about their own careers at various stages: emerging museum professionals, mid-career, and late-career.
On October 6 we hosted with three mid-career professionals representing different types of collections from different parts of the world about how they got into the field, what their expectations were at the beginning, and what their expectations are now going forward.
