¿Recordéis que un sonido se considera sonora cuando la voz vibra al pronunciarlo y si no vibra es sorda? Pues es una distinción muy importante a nivel fonético de los sonidos en inglés. Esa es la diferencia entre las consonantes /p/ y /b/. Cuando pronuncio la /p/ no activo la voz hasta que no llego a la siguiente sonido sonoro; /pen/ sin embargo con la /b/, mi voz vibra desde el principio; /bed/. Lo mismo pasa con la /f/ y la /v/ por eso no confundimos la /v/ con la /b/ porque no tienen nada que ver. Este tipo de lección es mejor oída así que os animo a escuchar el podcast de "5 minutos de inglés con Marcus" tantas veces como sea necesaria. El idiom de hoy es: "to be in somebody's shoes" - estar en el pellejo de alguien. Espero que os guste!
