On the morning of April 12, 1981, 14 year old Sheila Sharp walked from the home of her friends, the Seabolt family, to Cabin 28 in the small resort community of Keddie, California. She was looking forward to seeing her mother, Sue, three brothers, John, Ricky, and Greg, and her younger sister, Tina. Instead, she stepped into a nightmare made flesh, with the bodies of her mother, John, and his friend Dana Windgate lying dead in the cabins living room. Worse still was the fact that Tina was missing. This week we look at one of the most fascinating and tragic unsolved murders in modern American history. The Keddie Cabin Murders, which have inspired numerous films, books, and television shows.
