S1 Ep5 - Danielle Moore (Crazy P)

Episode 5 gives us the chance to speak to Danielle Moore - DJ & Crazy P front woman, born in Greater Manchester and now living in Birmingham. Having met her bandmates on the dance floor of Manchester night clubs, Danni Moore is in a great position to chat to us about how our going experiences shape our lives in some way. Meeting like minded people is so important whilst growing up and trying to find your tribe, and as Danni explains, clubs help us do that. Danni met her Crazy P tribe whilst belting out a Shirley Bassey number at an after party (we’ve all been there, but probably not as successfully). Danni goes on to explain how night clubs and other venues create a safe space for us to learn who we are and eventually meet the people who will be in our lives for the foreseeable. In Danni’s case, this happens to be Pippa’s parents. We chatted to Danni about the clubs that introduced and drove her passion for music. We learn, that from an early age, that Danni loved to dance and found it difficult to leave the dancefloor on nights out. This episode strengthens our observations from our other episodes, that our going out experiences are imperative to us as people and as a community.
