Alice Edgcumbe-Rendle started out 30 years ago selling tea and coffee to local hotels and restaurants close to her home in Sussex.
Now she is taking delivery of her third (and biggest) roaster to keep up with the growing demand for speciality coffees.
The global pandemic has been a positive boost to her burgeoning empire as businesswoman, trailblazer, mother, grandmother, educator and promoter of local businesses.
She is about to open a purpose-built farm shop on her premises in the sleepy Sussex countryside, which has become a magnet to lockdowners hungry for quality, locally produced food and beverages.
