We are facing a seller's market, that means, you have too many buyers with a low housing inventory. When the pandemic hit in 2020, the FED lowered the interest rate to motivate buyers and the economy. Sellers on their side feel are better to wait since prices are rising.
New Construction and more sellers will start increasing the housing inventory, buyers will now have more choices and market reaches equilibrium (only for a while) until there are more houses for sales than prospect buyers, creating then a buyer's market.
Then the process repeats....
