Spectators from abroad will not be allowed in the stands at this summer's Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan. The ruling came Saturday after a meeting that included the International Olympic Committee, Japanese authorities, and local organizers. Officials cited the risk of bringing coronavirus infections to the country, which has weathered the pandemic better than most. "We have to take decisions that may need sacrifice from everybody," IOC President Thomas Bach said over the weekend.
