From a barista to a Paramedic, during the height of a pandemic, Sam jumped into the drivers seat and started to treat. On this episode I chatted to Sammy ( the coiled spring) about his first year as a paramedic. On the episode we talked through Sam's first ever job as a paramedic, what to do when you make a mistake, what it's like working on road, transitioning from a student to services uniform and the overall excitement of working as a paramedic. Sam opened up about his previous career as a barista and model and also discussed why he made the elusive change to an emergency healthcare professional. Sam matched me for excitement and unpacked his experiences in his first 9 months on the job and gives some amazing advice that all health professionals should listen to.
