Prophecies are the words of God that sound new to humanity when revealed through a prophet, they are not new to God, who knows all things—past, present, and future. Before a prophet speaks or acts, there is alignment with the mind and instruction of God, commonly referred to as prophetic instruction. Prophetic instructions are effective when they are given and carried out within the boundaries of Scripture. Prophecy has the power to rewrite narratives, especially at the opening of new seasons.
