One of the phrases that my clients find hardest to use in their tapping is, "I give myself permission to be easy and gentle with myself".
The reason they find it difficult is because it feels as if it’s giving themselves permission to do less work, not to try, or to be satisfied with something that is less than.
Recently I had conversation with one of my clients who reported struggling with using that phrase, even though she recognized it would be useful.
