In a conversation with M.S. student Charlotte Follari, Dr. Eva Jarawan, Assistant Professor in the Department of International Health, shares insights from her 25 years at the World Bank and her career in academia. Professor Jarawan is a public health specialist and operations manager with over 35 years of experience in international development. She has more than 12 years of experience in the academic field teaching graduate and undergraduate public health and global health students. Previously, Professor Jarawan held academic positions at the University of Michigan’s (UM) School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, and the department of Health Care at UM’s School of Health Sciences in Flint, and at the department of Health Services Administration at the American University of Beirut.
