Art transcends boundaries, both in terms of nature vs. nurture, concept and the medium. She is a renowned American artist, especially known for her large scale abstract sculptural installations, as well as drawings and models. Her work spans a wide range of media and often explores themes related to architecture and design, engineering, nature, and the human experience. Her large-scale outdoor sculptures that can be found in various public spaces, art institutions and airports around the world. Her works often challenge viewers to reconsider their relationship with the environment and the spaces they inhabit.
Alice Aycock joins podcast host Cindy Glanzrock for a thought-provoking and straight forward conversation about critical thinking and the creative journey. She opens up about her experiences growing up in Harrisburg, PA and later living in New York City, in a family deeply connected to architecture and design, engineering, and construction.
