One area of interest is the role of gut micro-organisms, a.k.a. microbiota or the microbiome and their role on gut inflammation, and on how diet impacts the composition and function of gut bacteria. Natasha’s area of research focuses on how dietary fat impacts the gut microbiome, inflammation and disease activity in patients living with Ulcerative Colitis.
