Episode 2: Queen
'God Save The Queen'
As one of the pioneering Rock bands of the 70s, one of the planet’s most famous acts of the 80s and literal legends of the 90s - Queen have proven that when it comes to being Rock ‘N’ Roll, anything goes. They gifted us with Rock’s greatest ever Frontman, an innovative pioneer of the Guitar, one of the best singing Drummers and a bass player whose Bass lines will be remembered, played and sung for decades to come.
Rock, Opera, Soundtrack, Jazz, Electro, Pop, Psychedelic, Rockabilly, Metal, Musical, Disco, Gospel and Funk - are all genres that you can divide and categorise Queen songs into - their determination, drive and acceptance of the fact that “all things change” ensured that they were never left behind and that they kept their music relevant and important in order to endure, survive and succeed in what is an ever-changing, cut-throat Music industry.
In Episode 2, Laz and Felipe discuss who Queen were, why they worked so well together as a band, what they did that was so significant and their legacy in the Rock ‘N’ Roll history books.
