We talked to Chef Jamil on a prior episode about his non-profit that helps immigrant chefs get their start in Omaha and also helps to normalize food that may be unfamiliar to the American palate. This capstone dinner showcased food from Syria, Morocco, Benin and other countries, but more importantly connected the diners to Chef’s behind the meal.
