Episode 15 digs deep into why Jacqueline has decided to make some changes to her plan regarding recovery from Binge Eating Disorder while still trying to lose weight. We discuss the importance of following the plan and path that is right for you. Sometimes the plan and path that you are following might need to be changed. Jacqueline found herself using the scale to decide when/how much to eat as well as choose her workouts based on if she thought she would burn enough calories. Realizing that she was making these choices based on the scale is what guided her to make a change to her current plan and to stop daily weighing. We talk about how it is important to be self-aware and honest so that you can think about why you are making the choices that you are and make sure that they are helping you reach your goals instead of just spinning your wheels while not making any progress. We hope that this discussion serves as a reminder that the road you may be traveling might need some work and a detour may just be what you need to keep making progress.

Jacqueline has an incredible journey to share. She found herself weighing over 500 pounds followed by losing more than 300 pounds. She has also gone through several skin removal surgeries. Jacqueline started sharing her Journey in 2016 and has yet to look back. She is has had her story shared with many national and international media outlets.
