Business:Entrepreneurship
One big mistake most entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders (myself included) often make is not asking for help. We default to the misguided idea that admitting to others we need advice, assistance or guidance is a sign of failure. But in fact, it's the exact opposite. Being open to help is the smartest thing we can do. Today's episode is a deep dive into a recent social media post on this idea. Let's talk about it.
"Friends who own businesses, ask for help. Don't wait until it's too late. Running a business is tough, even for the smartest and most experienced professionals. Ask your support system to buy, refer or collaborate. Let people help or (at least) offer advice when things START to get tough, not when you are completely out of options. This has happened to good friends recently, who could have been saved if they had only asked for help sooner."
