Public Health Epidemiology Conversations
Business:Careers
For Hayley Yaglom, the key to successful public health initiatives is multidisciplinary collaboration across human health systems, animal health systems, and their shared environment. As a One Health Genomics Epidemiologist, Hayley’s role at the Translational Genomics Research Institute involves implementing genomics surveillance programs with the goal of helping healthcare systems and communities better deal with rising cases of antimicrobial resistance and healthcare associated infections.
Public health issues are not always clear cut, and Hayley is a creative thinker who is adding so much value to the field! We end this episode with some excellent advice for anyone interested in building a career in public health.
