More than one hundred people have been killed while gathered around food aid trucks in Gaza city, according to the Ministry of Health there. Despite disputed timelines, Israeli forces say they did open fire. This comes in the context of a dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where the UN says over half a million people are "one step away from famine."
