Professor Beck is an Exercise Physiologist, world renowned and revered Bone Researcher, Musculoskeletal Anatomist and self-confessed scientific myth-buster. Belinda is the Pioneer and Founder of both "The Bone Clinic" and the award winning "Onero Program and Exercise Program for Osteoporosis". Belinda is prolific in the scientific literature when it comes to the role of exercise and its effect on bone, Professor Beck's chief work goal being to develop evidence based, safe and effective management and prevention for musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoporosis, stress fractures and osteoarthritis.
In 2021, Professor Beck co-authored a narrative review titled "Risk Factors Diagnosis and Management of Bone Stress Injuries in Adolescent Athletes". It was co-authored with her colleague, Physiotherapist for the Queensland Ballet Louise Drysdale.
