I blew up at my kid today,

I screamed deep from my core. 

I blew up at my kid today,

Couldn’t hold it anymore. 

PAUSE

It shook the room to silent,

Her eyes were wide and wet.

I knew that I had messed up,

And filled with deep regret. 

PAUSE

I took deep breaths in front of her,

And hugged her with such love.

“I’m sorry for yelling loudly,

Please forgive what I have done.”
