New Anomaly Series: Jen and Archaeologist Jenny McNiven discuss the historical accuracies that inspired our favorite sci-fi and fantasy books, movies and TV shows. Our first edition in this new series is about the standing stones in "Outlander". Outlander is a British-American television drama series based on the historical time travel "Outlander" series of novels by Diana Gabaldon. These megalithic structures not only dot the British Isles, but are found all over the world. They also talked stone circles, Stone Henge and Jenny's Scottish ancestry, which she can trace back to the 18th century Inverness.
