Blue-Collar Leadership & Supervision: Unleash Your Team's Potential (Part 10 of 30)
Trust is the foundation of leadership (influence). Intention is the foundation of trust. If your intention is to manipulate (only you benefit), you will never develop a foundation upon which trust can be built. If your intention is to motivate (mutual benefit), then you will develop a foundation upon which trust can be built.
In this episode, Mack will discuss the importance of trust and the impact it has on the leader's ability to lead beyond the artificial influence that comes with their title, position, or rank. When a leader's builds trust they no longer need artificial influence because they'll begin to lead at a higher level with authentic influence.
