Let’s get real. Even when you have a joyful life as a parent to a child with needs, you still face many decisions that parents of neurotypical kids just don’t. Some of these decisions are small, and even though they require your energy, they’re not too taxing.
Others are major. They have the potential to change the trajectory of your child’s entire future. And it’s up to you to make them if your child is unable to advocate for themselves.
It’s intense. It can be scary. And also beautiful.
Joy Bufalini is a mom of three children, one of whom has intense needs. She knows what it’s like to be in survival mode. She knows what it’s like to make major decisions on a daily basis. She’s also committed to thriving as a woman, mother, and entrepreneur.
Our discussion on today’s episode is one of my favorites, ever. It’s honest, emotional, and something ever parent needs to hear, especially if you’re IN IT right now.
