Pressure continues to mount for Israel and Hamas to make a deal. Negotiators have reportedly agreed on a “framework” and Hamas is “studying” a new proposal for a renewed truce in Gaza and the return of hostages. Ami Ayalon, the former head of Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service, has been pushing for negotiations and an eventual two-state solution. He joins the show to discuss.
