10:09 We need to start to carve out a blue ocean. The reason it got this term it’s because there is also a red ocean.
10:55 You have to consider that people that are ready to invest in change are already trying to solve their problems with different solutions.
11:18 So we want to think about what are the elements of that new strategy, it allows you to move out of the mainstream and start to dominate.
11:45 Part of this process is unpacking a lot of things that you're not really aware of. This is such a huge element of our process inside all of our programs. (10K Content Collective)
12:17 When we look at positioning, we look at who it's for, what is the problem, and how to specifically solve it.
12:40 What’s really cool is, there are so many different layers within this and so many different ways that you can come in with a unique positioning.
13:14 In Launch Like A Queen, as you move into the revenue bucket and start to grow your business, what we do is we can even look at more data and more of the things in the industry to figure out if there are more opportunities to niche down.
16:10 We took these different layers through the different questions that we were prompting and then understanding where the biggest opportunity will be.
17:12 I find that people want to weave in labels and words that might sound great, but ultimately it's not going to be the thing that people are looking for.
18:19 It's important that we're not using descriptors that people don't use for themselves or for the things that they're trying to solve.
20:05 Another thing too here is understanding that positioning and dominating your niche has less if anything, to do with the size of your audience.
20:53 Different types of challenges and strategies for different pain points and mindsets.
21:21 We can start to dial in what this actually looks like in relation to the day-to-day scenarios and circumstances that your potential client has.
21:50 You’re gonna have way more progress in your business with very specific dialed-in messaging.
22:19 There are opportunities there to further niche down and additional levers that you can pull that will make you unique.

23:25 Another component to this is not just the positioning itself, but also the marketing and messaging around it.

25:54 Pulling the lever from what your ideal client’s struggles are and their wants. Building part of that into your positioning statement.
26:29 It's not just about “niching down,” it's not just about being more specific. There's a whole strategy behind that, that allows you to do it very effectively.
