Iranian media is reporting that the country’s consulate in Syria has been destroyed in an airstrike, killing a senior commander in the revolutionary guard’s Quds force. The Iranian ambassador to Syria is claiming that Israel was behind the attack that killed at least five people. It comes as thousands of protestors gathered in cities across Israel in the largest demonstrations since October 7th.
