In this interview Pedram talks about his forthcoming book “The Urban Monk” which describes how we can thrive and have peace in our lives right now wherever we are, without the need to run for the hills or meditate in a cave. This is important information for everyone!
Pedram shared that a conscious connection to your “higher self” or whatever term you prefer, impacts all your decisions. Everything you experience goes through this filter, so having this realization helps life make more sense. Our materialistic consumerist society feeds the “hungry ghost” mentality and this vicious cycle is never ending. The only way to find peace is to honor this inner, higher connection. Transformational change can happen daily as a result of living out of this conscious awareness.
