It begins with a single raindrop,

A recognition of something good. 

PAUSE…

Your conscious mind zooms in,

And observes the watery prism.

Its curves,

Its texture,

And the sparks of magic glistening inside. 

PAUSE…

The rush of gratitude,

Spreads down your body.

You feel lighter.

More clear.

And vibrant with life.

PAUSE…

Another raindrop appears,

A recognition of another good.

Your attention shifts to it.

Again, observing its shape, 

And its sparks of joy inside. 

PAUSE…

Another wave of gratitude pours over you,

Even larger than before.

Because gratitude grows exponentially,

It compounds easily,

And that raindrop quickly turns into a rainstorm of gratitude,

Washing over you waves at a time.

Leaving you joyfully saturated, 

And overflowing with gratitude.

So imagine your arms are stretched up above you,

Reaching to meet the falling raindrops. 

Eager to pay homage to all the good. 

PAUSE…

Be here in the rain,

And invite yourself to recognize each of the blessings,

Every single lucky break,

Every something special,

And especially, 

All the gifts hidden amongst the darkest of storm clouds.

LONG PAUSE...

If you let them, 

If you just take the time to notice them,

The raindrops of gratitude will kiss every inch of your body,

Leaving no part of you dry or unaffected by the magic inside.

PAUSE…

Be here.

Drenched with blessings.
