Jeff Stanfield & Andy Shaver sit down with Dorie Tucker who sits on the Scholarship Board of Miss Rodeo America. They discuss the way of life and values that the Miss Rodeo America contest embodies. Dorie and her husband, Roy Tucker, are also successful ranchers and have owned property in many states, including, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico and Arizona. They talk about the strenuous nature of life on a ranch, the connection to land and its history, ancient Native American sites found on their property, and the history behind Ft. Sumner and The Long Walk of the Navajo.
