Dorie and her husband, Roy Tucker, are also successful ranchers and have owned property in many states, including, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico and Arizona. They talk about the strenuous nature of life on a ranch, the connection to land and its history, ancient Native American sites found on their property, and the history behind Ft. Sumner and The Long Walk of the Navajo.
