In 2014, Google paid hundreds of millions of dollars to acquire AI lab DeepMind, which was co-founded by Mustafa Suleyman. He says it's an incredible time to be alive during this transition to AI, but the the world still doesn't quite grasp how big a deal its arrival really is. He joined the show to discuss all of AI's ups and downs, which he's written about in his book “The Coming Wave.”
