Amazon does a great job of selling generic items. Generic businesses tend to have generic margins that reflect the general market. Unique businesses tend to have margins that are higher than the general market. What type of product or service does your business offer? If it’s generic hopefully your business is the market leader otherwise you better get work on figuring out how to be unique and generate higher margins.
