Nate is Partner and Portfolio Manager of Commodity Asset Management, a Hedge Fund and CTA specializing in investing in commodities that receive limited attention and coverage in the financial markets - silicon, tin, zinc, nickel, frac sand, et al. A former trader at Goldman Sachs, AQR and Bridgewater (some of the largest and storied investment firms or Hedge Funds), Nate explains his response to some of the misconceptions of many investors to commodity investing. Their unique focus, using fundamental analysis, gives their investments very low correlation with the equities marketplace. This is designed to be true diversification. For a discussion of an investment and strategy that is unique, designed to have low correlation with other investments, on markets that have a very limited following, listen to his interview. This is definitely not investing with the herd.
