It was a visit to his Doctor, that made Marcus realise how he needed to change his approach to sales and shift from pitching to consulting.
Instead of blaming his territory, the economy, and everything else on his lack of results, he had a mindset shift and started to learn about modern sales.
He invested in his own personal development and committed to being better.
Then he consistently became the number one top performer and in one company he gained 12 promotions in 8 years.
