Turning it around no matter what. Brian and I met as students at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School for Addiction Studies, and we connected through our shared background as Police Officers. Brian discusses the progression of the disease of addiction, how it controls your life, and how you are ultimately forced to make a decision. Brian's story demonstrates how you can overcome addiction despite enormous pressure to continue using...no matter what. Brian's story is an inspiration for others and his continued service by training to become a counselor is a testament to how we give back in gratitude.
